03 Quotations and Pricing

Validity of Quotations

All quotations provided by Treflik Solar are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change after this period due to fluctuations in equipment costs, government policy changes, or exchange rate variations.

Inclusions and Exclusions

Each quotation will clearly specify what is included (panels, inverter, mounting structure, wiring, installation labor, documentation). Any additional work discovered during site assessment, such as civil modifications, additional electrical infrastructure, or roof waterproofing, will be quoted separately and require customer approval before commencement.

GST and Taxes

All prices are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other government levies. Solar panels for residential use attract 12% GST and other components attract 18% GST as per prevailing Indian tax regulations. Any change in applicable tax rates will be reflected in the final invoice.

04 Installation Terms

Site Requirements

The customer is responsible for ensuring the installation site meets the following conditions: adequate shadow-free roof space, structurally sound roof capable of bearing the weight of solar panels and mounting structure, existing electrical infrastructure compatible with solar inverter requirements, and access to the installation area for our engineering team.

Installation Timeline

Installation timelines are indicative and subject to equipment availability, weather conditions, government approval timelines, and other unforeseen circumstances. Treflik Solar will communicate any delays promptly and work diligently to complete installation within the agreed timeframe.

Safety Compliance

All installations are carried out in compliance with IS/IEC standards, CEA Regulations for grid-connected solar systems, local DISCOM guidelines, and BIS safety standards. Any modifications to the installation or the electrical system by the customer after handover will void the installation warranty.

05 Payment Policy

Payment Schedule

Standard payment milestones for solar installations are: 50% advance payment at order confirmation, 40% payment upon delivery of equipment to site, and 10% balance payment upon system commissioning and handover. AMC contracts are billed annually and must be paid before the service year commences.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept NEFT/RTGS bank transfers, UPI payments, account payee cheques, and demand drafts. Cash payments are accepted only up to the limit permitted under applicable Indian laws. All payments should be made in Indian Rupees to the bank account specified in the invoice.

Late Payments

Treflik Solar reserves the right to pause installation work if milestone payments are not received within 7 working days of the due date. A late payment charge of 1.5% per month may be levied on overdue amounts after a 7-day grace period.

06 Warranty and Performance Guarantee

Solar Panel Warranty

Solar panels supplied by Treflik Solar carry manufacturer warranties of 10 years product warranty (against manufacturing defects) and 25 years linear performance warranty (minimum 80% output at 25 years). Warranty claims for panels are managed with the manufacturer, and Treflik Solar will assist in facilitating such claims during the first year post-installation.

Inverter Warranty

Solar inverters carry manufacturer warranties typically ranging from 5 to 10 years, depending on the brand and model selected. Extended warranties may be available as an optional add-on and will be specified in the quotation.

Installation Workmanship Warranty

Treflik Solar provides a 1-year workmanship warranty on installation quality, including wiring, mounting, and civil work. This warranty covers defects arising from improper installation but does not cover damage caused by natural calamities, tampering, or negligence.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover damage caused by: Acts of God (floods, lightning, cyclone, earthquake), physical damage due to negligence or vandalism, unauthorized modifications or repairs, failure to follow Treflik Solar's maintenance guidelines, or grid-related faults beyond the system boundary.
